Future Plans

Our plans in the next few years

• - To re-establish abandoned colony of the Chinese Crested Tern in Zhejiang.
• - To continue our education and awareness project so that the Chinese Crested Tern will be as famous as the Giant Panda and the Crested Ibis in China.
• - To strengthen our cooperation with government agencies and conservationists in China that more projects will be initiated from the Chinese government agencies.
• - To continue our promotion for sharing of experience between breeding sites.
• - To establish a network of Chinese Crested Tern range countries, particularly between China and Indonesia.
• - To use the Chinese Crested Tern as a flagship to promote seabird conservation in eastern Asia.

How you can help

• - Support the following organizations that work on the Chinese Crested Tern:

  ▶Wild Bird Society of Zhejiang

• - Report any illegal selling of seabird eggs and products to the government authorities.
• - Tell your friends about how important the Chinese Crested Tern is and we should protect the marine habitat.
• - For people living or visiting South East Asian countries, pay attention to the possibility of occurrence of the Chinese Crested Tern in their wintering areas.
